I tried asking this on Mod Req Board but have gotten no answer in almost a week, so maybe I'll ask here.

There is an ILX feature that puts a google search box in the upper right corner of ILX, and currently, when you try to do a google/GIS search from there, you get this message ("I SAID IT AIN'T WORKIN!!!"). All I really want to know is this:

A) Has it been disabled to discourage board searches? or...

B) Do the google/GIS searches from ilx somehow cause board-wide problems, thus precipitating the discontinuation of this feature?

I guess not many people utilize this feature or else there would be more of a meta-stir over this. I'm just curious really. If anybody can answer this I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
