i had a dream about you last night that a snake bit your leg and i was trying to suck out the poison and get you over desert mountains to a doctor.Had a dream about you last night. I went to visit your new flat which was purple with books and we were going to an art school ball. You were shaving my arms(?!) I was wearing a ball dress and you were dressed as a white angel.
I got these two emails yesterday from two different friends. I felt happy that they had dreamt about me, I miss them. What roles have you played in your friends dreams?

Also, I see these dreams as having a lot of symbolic elements, but I
never could decide whether to believe in all that stuff. Because
it's impossible to hold just one meaning to any symbol... or is it?

Back in grad student days, a fellow grad said that in a dream she had
seen me and a mutual female friend in the department wandering around
campus. Both the mutual friend and I were pregnant. I took this
vision under advisement.

I've appeared in one friend's dreams especially, my closest friend. I
am in there pretty frequently, either there as a sanctuary (he comes
and hugs me, runs to me, etc), or there as a mime. I don't talk in
his dreams most of the time. I'm emotionless or the only thing in the
world. It's strange. I've had a lot of dreams about him too, but
they always involve someone that is acting like him, and is not
actually like him at all. Strange.

I had a dream that I was a blonde guy with dreadlocks. The next
night I met that very guy. So weird. He thought I was trying to
come onto him when I told him about my dream.

Well of course poster [777] on this very
board had a dream about me barely a week
ago. My role was quite nice. I *think* that is
the only time I have been told I featured in
someone's dream. But my memory is por
these days , I have decided because of rays
flooding out of the computer screen into my
pore head.
[xXx] often had terrible, carnage-strewn
dreams: i suspect i featured in those, but
was never told. At the time when our
friendship was most fraught, and [xXx]
appeared in MY dreams, the symbolism was
very telling, tho of course I ignored it, to my
cost. Thus: [xXx] in my dreams would say
things that made no sense to me, cryptic
phrases, or mumbled and obscured talk, or
just mean meaningful looks which I was
unable to (refused to) ascribe the correct
meaning to. Latterly when we have met in
dreams, I have been overwhelmed by the
panicky need not to engage or communicate,
but instead to pretend we nevah knew one
another. This is sad: and — as has been
proven — far more extreme than maters stand
in real life.
Also I dreamt when Mandelson lost the job of
Northern Ireland secretary, they asked me. I
was cross because it would be time-
consuming and tiresome, but naturally I
accepted.

Not quite on topic, but last night I dreamt that none other than our
Mike Hanle y (well, okay, it was kinda like Hanle y+ someone else)
was my roommate! And it was horrible. I was trying to sleep, and he
kept waking me up for no good reason, muttering some nonsense at me.
And to get out of the place, I needed money that I didn't have. So I
just tried to sleep. But he wouldn't let me.
