Wide v. thick?
None v. some?

MOST pressing: the quntity? WHAT is the ideal # of belt loops? I say 7. My pants have 5 and the belt, the belt: THE BELT is unhappy.

Never enuff. Current trowzis = 5 = 2 too few. At least.

Must have two belt loops in the back, not just the center one that gets pulled out of whack when you sit. Speaking as someone who sits at a desk all day. That makes...6? I like 6. 7 could work.

"6.7 Could Work" = classic lost Minutemen tune.

Wrong wrong wrong! I have a pair of slacks that has two loops in the back and once skipped a loop and it wasn't until late in the day that I noticed! Needless to say, this was the most traumatic day of anyone's life, ever.

two in the back make pants press uncomfortably against me. 6 or 7 is just decadent. i think that's what did in the romans.

I need two in teh back to keep jeans over backside without the center loop pulling them up my ass. Personal preference, bro.

Upon further review, it's when the two in the back are close to one another that it becomes uncomfortable. As long as there's 5 or so inches in between, I'm ok with it. But then you risk having them too close to the side loops. Maybe I just need to develop a more girthful waist.
