Why do so many guys fall for girls that act utterly thick?

I've seen it happening so many times, some of my friends and colleagues play up their daftness in front of blokes and it seems to make them more attractive to them.

Why is this?

The airheadedness doesn't make them more attractive, per se. It keeps the blokes from being distracted from evaluating their breasts.

Also, am I the only one who failed to understand the point of the Airheads film adaptation or how it actually had anything to do with the candy? Was Brendan Fraser supposed to be the personification of WHITE MYSTERY? So confusing.
