The performances by Ciaran Hinds and Indira Varma were nothing short of magnificent!

My favorite bit was Brutus, who was never told "you too?" by Big Julie in the first season, saying it to his mother as he was feeling the knife twist.

If I remember correctly, it'll start on the BBC in March. There are only ten episodes this year, mind, so the HBO run might be finished when it starts.

If I had any real problem with it, it was with Cicero. I hope he doesn't turn into a wafting buffoon. I really like him.

I also hope they keep Posca for the rest of the season. More Posca is always good, even though I don't think he'd have nearly as enjoyable interactions with Antony or Octavian as he did with Caeser.

well that was brutal. and awesome!
this show has a way of really putting me on edge though more than i think any other show on tv right now - so dramatic, so bloody, so much honour and yet so much double-triple-right-back-atcha crossing - every episode makes my head spin a bit. love it.

The Beeb have started showing Season 2 finally. If they'd just get their arses in gear with Heroes they have my evening viewing pretty much monopolised.
