I very much enjoyed this. If you don't know it the oddly endearing Simon Davis goes and lives at someones house for the weekend and cooks dinner and then on the sunday they all have a bit of a party and he buys them a pressie for letting him rummage through their drawers.

Last night was the amazing Skywood house. He bought them a choclate fountain.

Some pictures of the house here - it's featured in various ads/tv progs/bruchures, etc.

it looked a lot like that house in milan from the outside.

i spent most of the show wondering at how much water they must waste. filling those 4" long trough-style sinks with even an inch of water must take forever. and the water feature / bath in the master bedroom...

And they had a fountain/wall and a swimming pool and a jacuzzi.

Oh yes - beautiful and definitely an influence I should say.

that isn't a house etc

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 16 January 2007 14:09 (nineteen years ago)

Next week it's a house converted from a milk depot in Peckham. See it here...

Should be an interesting contrast.

Not just a house (I should add) also offices, etc.

Looks intriguing... Is the show worth the time/ratio to snag from t0rr3nt?

Elvis Telecom (Chris Barrus), Thursday, 18 January 2007 23:28 (eighteen years ago)

two weeks pass...
I missed the Peckham milk depot but last weeks was very good. Drop house - a modern dream in the middle of all these fake tudor mansions. And it was the tudorlite owners who tried to prevent the house from being built.
