good coffee near UPenn?

For various crazy reasons having to do with my job, I'm going to be at U Penn in Philadelphia for two days next week. Could some ILXor kindly point me to where I could get some good coffee in the mornings? Is there any available on or near the campus? Is there a good coffeehouse to trek into downtown Philadelphia for?

There are lots of good coffee places in center city (not that I'm much of a coffee drinker--but trust me on this). I'm not that familiar with what's around Penn, especially these days, but I would be very surprised if there wasn't something good out that way as well. I think if you walk around near 34th & Sansom (nice stuff on that little block in general) and 34th & Walnut, you should find something.

i need to find a map & figure where exactly that is, i'm so clueless about Philadelphia geography.

If you do come into center city, La Colombe is generally considered to have the best coffee.

They don't open until 7:30 AM, though. I miss all the places in Seattle that open up at 4 AM.
