It was announced on the 18th. Really.

Not much really to say, except what's best summarized as "beyond ironic and somewhere down the short road to demented."

Moron-in-Chief Celebrates "Sanctity of Human Life Day"...

Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 2:54 PM

...those weren't my words, that's how a hardened leftist titled the e-mail he sent me that linked to this story. The lefty-goons loved it of course because a ranking Bush Admin official is criticizing the President. The left despise the fact that the President believes that innocent life should be protected.

What the story, the e-mailer who hit me up, and the lying leftist web-site forget to tell us all is that - embryonic stem cells - have not proven helpful in the resovling or curing of any known diseases.

What the lying liars also lie about is the fact that they are now in greater abundance in the amniotic fluid - more so in fact than they have ever been in the destruction of a living embryo.

Hmmm, amniotic fluid - millions of stem cells, and a child lives... or embryonic stem cells in limited numbers where the child dies... yep - the left would always prefer to kill the child - thus making those of us who see this as needless...

MORONS.

one year passes...

2009 edition on the 18th.

...The most basic duty of government is to protect the life of the innocent. My Administration has been committed to building a culture of life by vigorously promoting adoption and parental notification laws, opposing Federal funding for abortions overseas, encouraging teen abstinence, and funding crisis pregnancy programs. In 2002, I was honored to sign into law the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which extends legal protection to children who survive an abortion attempt. I signed legislation in 2003 to ban the cruel practice of partial-birth abortion, and that law represents our commitment to building a culture of life in America. Also, I was proud to sign the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004, which allows authorities to charge a person who causes death or injury to a child in the womb with a separate offense in addition to any charges relating to the mother...

Also, Happy Religious Freedom Day! (today)
