It is pretty funny, though, how we can't quite break through our issues about people of the opposite sex seeing one another in these kinds of situations -- despite our all knowing really well that there are all sorts of things that seriously undermine the logic of it.

That is true, there have been instances where female reporters described the nude players they saw in the locker rooms, and were later forced to apologize, But in all fairness, the biggest critics of this are other female reporters, whenever this happens they are outraged because it makes them all look bad!

^^^^^ Haha any guy who takes off his clothes to shower is totally asking for it!
Clearly the answer is that we should have two locker rooms -- one to actually use as a locker room, and the other for a kind of quaint, immersive interview backdrop.

my experience of male locker rooms is nonexistent but surely other guys would take the piss if anyone did this? it looks prudish and cumbersome enough in ladies' changing rooms.

Well this is an awful looking thread. But I don’t know where better to put this.
I am Australian and disheartened by this news article - https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2023/mar/30/australian-surf-clubs-policy-banning-nudity-in-changerooms-bewilders-swimmers
Is the rest of the world starting to succumb to this sort of mimsy prudery? Or is it a uniquely Australian development?
