I am in love with this show. I can't be the only one watching this. Yes, it's on Oxygen. Cheryl Hines from "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is the producer. It's fantastic.

A friend of mine thinks that Joan was in Hairspray, but I cannot confirm this (damn you, IMDB!).

I think my favorite episode thus far is when The Ladies take mushrooms and build a "Safe Room."

Coincidentally, this show is sort of a mish-mash of all things you mentioned. I can't recommend it enough. It's delightful.

I also watch this. It's inconsistent but sometimes super funny. Is the fat kid from the ebay store in the 40 Year Old Virgin not in the second season? If not color me heartbroken.

It is really awkward! I think that's the whole premise. It's a bummer the whole episodes aren't up there. 2 middle age women, learning the ins and outs of thongs, etc., and the hijinks that follow. Watching two ladies who are keen on their anti-bacterial handwash do keg stands is completely hilarious. I didn't see all of last night's episode, as I fell asleep. Mind you, that has nothing to do with the quality of the episode, but that I'd been on a really long flight. Also, the dudes I know aren't into it. I'm thinking it may be a comedy for the ladies.

It totally bums me out that something so great can be on the Oprah channel, but fuck it! It does make me happy that it's not on HBO, and on basic (?) cable. It is depressing that it's followed by the worst show in the world (Tyra -- I hate her), but what can you do?

The roommate and the kids across the hall are not rly funny at all. But oh the guest stars!! Speaking of "oh" I kinda like that it is on the Oprah channel because if you are reluctant to watch a women's specialty channel for some lols then maybe you should think about just how dedicated you really are to the pursuit of cable TV comedy.
