Yesterday, I sat on the train next to a woman who was evidently talking to her son on her mobile phone. I picked up that "Ben" was currently in New York (I'm in London) in a band that was being managed by Tom Rutherford, polo playing son of Mike (and the Mechanics). The reason for the trip was that Tom and Ben's band were hoping to secure a recording contract (possibly an American one). Someone called Lynda was doing some (admin?) work for the band. Anyone know who the band is / could be?
