Those Taco Bell Commercials with Carmen Electra

Does it seem to anyone else that the implied message of these ads is that Carmen Electra is a little...i dunno...skeevy?

it's almost like they were directed by a sworn enemy of both taco bell AND carmen electra.

and that shot of whatever the hell it is they are selling at the beginning where if you see it enough times you notice, just barely, a little bit of gooey cheese OOZING out of it----WHY, that's nasty

and then at the end they have her taking a big honking bite out of that shit log!! it just makes me think "ew carmen electra eats taco bell she must stay up all night shitting like i do!"

seriously these commercials may be the most unaccountable thing i have ever seen on television.

Those commercials are really fucked up, I mean Carmen Electra looks bad in them and I'm a Carmen apologist for god's sake. She looks like a torn-up plastic surgery victim, and seems to merely serve the purpose of showing that the cast-off friend girl is much, much more attractive?

I don't understand them at all--plus the storyline makes no sense whatsoever. First, they are all making fun of him because he says he's going on a date with her, and she shows up and proves them wrong. But then the next ad is them making fun of him for ever saying he went on a date with her? They were all there when she showed up for the original bowling date. It drives me nuts!

I haven't seen these, but the Taco Bell commercial I just imagined where she cradles a Beef Supreme between her breasts has me thinking outside the bun.

Yeah, I would imagine so. It's just that most ads/tv spots I see with her, like the MAC stuff, it's so specially lit etc etc that it's a lot more difficult to tell. This ad looks like they have gone and put a flashlight right underneath her to light her!!

Whoever said that this song "is not rock and roll" or that this is "punk for the mainstream" has no idea what they're talking about. This song is a cover and pre-dates punk by a good ten years. Likewise, If you ever talk about Joan Jett in this sort of disrespectfull way again, I assure you that a giant biker will find you and kick your fucking teeth in. Go see her show some time. Her audience is as far from mainstream as it gets. Her audience can't be classified.

You know what pisses me off most about this ad? When Carmen asks dorky dude, "do you like my dress?" and he answers, like a total dick, "Yeah, it's okay" and he has the pervy look in his eye. It's disturbing.
