SNOW! A big snowstorm! Actually a very small snowstorm! But it's the first snow in W. Massachusetts since 2006!
The hard part is that it's surprising me!

it is very pretty and peaceful and the air smells good. it's weird how the temperature is warmer during and after snow than those really fucking cold days when nothing happens except freezing.
If I keep looking for the next hour or so I am sure I will see some critters making tracks through the snow.

It is very pretty.
I'm sure we are going to get hit sometime this winter - the whole state/coast.
I have the window open and it's like not really cold out! (it also isn't snowing anymore)

Oh my god. I just went out and checked the temperature, and it's about 38 degrees.
Everything is melting. This is the weirdest winter ever.

That's funny, I was just on the roof of my building with the upstairs neighbors and we noticed a homeless man walking around the under-construction building across the street. Other members of my party shouted at him for a while -- surprising all around!

I really can't describe this instant winter.
Everything is melting and it's very audible! I'm up during the middle of the night, so the thing that bothers me is...the sun hasn't even risen. Tomorrow is going to be very slushy.
