Great actor, great roles. My first encounter with his work was the Caedmon recording of selections from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe -- what a command of his voice and how to use it.

I found his Francis Urqhart a bit too hammy, but maybe that was the way the role was written. He's terrific in Tinker Tailor Solider Spy.
