.... William T. Vollmann's newest book. Am unsure how I feel about it about halfway in... the photographs in the back are quite stunning, and his whole theory of 'normality' is pretty convincing. But otherwise...
I like Vollmann quite a bit, too.
is fantastic, and his fiction and shorter articles (particularly those for Harper's) have never disappointed.
