Joei won her first vocal competition (as an aspiring professional) last night. It was a small-but-significant one: the New England Conservatory School for Continuing Education Annual Vocal Competition. One of the judges was the head of the NEC program that she auditioned for two weeks ago, which probably is going to help her chances of getting in a lot.

I have been told that if I post her email address, she will stab me, so I'll just mail her the URL for this question. *grin*
