― Mark G, Friday, 22 June 2007 15:02 (eighteen years ago)
I've always been too shy to do this, but if anyone likes track 18, we're playing the Dublin Castle in Camden tomorrow night, plus ham-fisted "DJing" afterwards.
― Jamie T Smith, Friday, 22 June 2007 15:11 (eighteen years ago)
Track 18 being The Articles of "Olinda Road" fame, folks.
― Mark G, Friday, 22 June 2007 15:12 (eighteen years ago)
Actually, I've also just remembered my friend works for the music archive of the British Library. If we want this preserved for the nation, just send me a copy and he'll get it catalogued.
― Jamie T Smith, Friday, 22 June 2007 15:13 (eighteen years ago)
Indeed. xpost.
― Jamie T Smith, Friday, 22 June 2007 15:14 (eighteen years ago)

― Mark G, Friday, 22 June 2007 15:54 (eighteen years ago)
Mark, can we still have the page updated with a myspace address (myspace.com/cityseventeen in our case)?
I will make a point of friending people on the compilation, since we have hardly any friends :(

You can listen to An Augmented Band songs too! How exciting for you.
I still have not recorded the Sleepy Seaplane album. I wrote a song called "You can haunt me if you like" the other day.

You know, this has bogged me off a bit now.
I forwarded the entire print run onto Ed for the ILX festival, and they went down a storm, some got sold, and some contributors got copies. All well and good so far.
Since then, they've been stuck in limbo, Ed is away for a while and contributors aint gettin any. I haven't even seen a finished copy myself, let alone got any at all. I really didn't want this to happen, but it has, so I can only apologise. It's not Ed's fault either, it kinda got lumped on him at the last minute as I couldn't go to the gig myself.
So, bear with us and we will get some sort of circulation going.
The d/l page is still up (Tom, if you want to replace your version, forward it on and I'll replace it there)

thank you for the update
― chaki, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 07:57 (eighteen years ago)
Yeah, thanks. I was wondering about this myself.
― Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 1 August 2007 12:32 (eighteen years ago)
Still they are stuck in 'locked flat limbo'
― Mark G, Wednesday, 15 August 2007 13:40 (eighteen years ago)
Hmm, doesn't seem to have any 'new answers'
So, I'll just say:
The uploading pages are still there for vols 2 and 3, and as I just found vol 1, I may well get round to doing one in the next week or so.
― Mark G, Thursday, 11 September 2008 06:57 (sixteen years ago)
Thanks, I look forward to it.
― snoball, Thursday, 11 September 2008 08:04 (sixteen years ago)
^^^ I just realised that looks like a sarcastic zing. It isn't, I genuinely mean it.
― snoball, Thursday, 11 September 2008 08:06 (sixteen years ago)
I knew that.
― Mark G, Thursday, 11 September 2008 08:25 (sixteen years ago)
Oh God, random strangers could have heard my song. Rather than random semi-strangers on the internet. In hindsight my song was a bit weird, conceptually & lyrically.
― Logged Out (jel --), Thursday, 11 September 2008 16:27 (sixteen years ago)
Well, tell me which, and I'll remove it if you like.
― Mark G, Thursday, 11 September 2008 16:34 (sixteen years ago)
nah, it can stay there, a testimony to "it sounded okay at the time".
― Logged Out (jel --), Thursday, 11 September 2008 16:35 (sixteen years ago)
Good man!
― Mark G, Thursday, 11 September 2008 22:41 (sixteen years ago)
"it sounded okay at the time" = proof that your music is getting better.
