nyc apt needed starting april 1

Hi friends.

Thanks to a greedy landlord, I am in need of a new apartment starting April 1st. Currently I live alone in the Lower East Side, and as much as I would love for that to continue, I am looking for a temporary living situation, one that would last through September, give or take a month, and so I'm prepared to leap back into Roommate World.

I am 28-years-old, work in the music industry and am clean, courteous and quiet. I don't need a lot of space, but something relatively peaceful and private would be ideal, with a preferred rent around $1400 or less. Ideal neighborhoods are anywhere in lower Manhattan (Chelsea and below), DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Fort Greene or Williamsburg/Greenpoint.

If you know of any sort of situation that would fit those broad requirements, I would love to hear from you (I'd love to hear from you anyway, but you know what I mean). And if you could forward along to any potentially interested parties, that would be wonderful and much appreciated, too.
