Today as we turned left the car behind us beeped, and the lady pulled up to the side of us, and I thought she was going to yell at us for some reason, so I flipped her the bird right to her face, but she said "You have a flat tire."

That said I also sign 'thank you' in ASL to other drivers but I don't think they get it.

Whats the ASL sign for thanks, is it anything like the AusLan sign which is flat palmed right hand off the chin? Cause thats a gesture I could see non-signers misinterpreting heh.

it wasnt really that flat - I wondered if she was going to yell after all but then changed her mind when she saw th eangry finger - later that day I went to get air and asked for quearts for my dollar and the guy was freaked out and asked if I had a gun!? WTF?
