What haven't you done that you reckon most if not all other ILXors have?

(I'll post one when I think of one)

Ms Misery, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:05 (eighteen years ago)

unfished business, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:06 (eighteen years ago)

I've never broken a bone, nor have I watched Titanic.

C J, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:06 (eighteen years ago)

I was going to post "broken a bone" ;_;

Fluffy Bear Hearts Rainbows, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:06 (eighteen years ago)

i've never broken a bone
i've never seen ALL of Titanic

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:06 (eighteen years ago)

Tom D., Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:07 (eighteen years ago)

I watched Titanic, you lucky bastards.

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:08 (eighteen years ago)

Never seen Titanic either but I know the plot from watching French & Saunders.

Michael White, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:08 (eighteen years ago)

(ooh, louis. tell us more!)

grimly fiendish, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:08 (eighteen years ago)

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:09 (eighteen years ago)

I have strenuously avoided seeing Titanic.

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:09 (eighteen years ago)

It sinks in the end.

Am I the only ILXor who has been rescued from a burning house?

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:10 (eighteen years ago)

...knowingly heard anything by Arcade Fire

Colonel Poo, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:10 (eighteen years ago)

ah well ah well ah well uh huh!
Tell me less, tell me less,

Mark G, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:10 (eighteen years ago)

got mixed up again

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:11 (eighteen years ago)

Am I the only ILXor to have set fire to blueski's house?

C J, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:11 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, CJ, and I heard they watered down the original script too.

Michael White, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:11 (eighteen years ago)

Am I the only ILXor who has been rescued from a burning house?

No, I have, down a ladder and everything

Tom D., Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:11 (eighteen years ago)

...owned a Belle and Sebastian album.

No BS in my collection.

onimo, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:11 (eighteen years ago)

... seen any Star Wars films all the way through

pretty sure Lex hasn't

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:12 (eighteen years ago)

Me too on the burning building one.

onimo, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:12 (eighteen years ago)

cj, hahah

Ms Misery, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:12 (eighteen years ago)

He's never even heard of them

Tom D., Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:12 (eighteen years ago)

Lex probably hasn't heard Arcade Fire either. Dammit.

Colonel Poo, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:12 (eighteen years ago)

I've utterly *failed* to have been rescued from a burning house. The woodstove in the living room blew up, there was a huge palava. No one knew I was home, sleeping in the basement. I slept right through it. Woke up in the morning, stumbled to the top of the stairs, and all my housemates stared at me like they'd seen a ghost when I asked why the door was off its hinges.

Does that count as the only ILX0r who has not... something?

Masonic Boom, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:13 (eighteen years ago)

I've done fire training days where I've had to both rescue and be rescued from a burning house, but I'm not sure whether that counts.

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:13 (eighteen years ago)

dude I am with Colonel Poo on the AF point. we fail it

TOMBOT, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:13 (eighteen years ago)

I'm the only ILXor who has not ever been on a date that didn't lead to a relationship.

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:13 (eighteen years ago)

lex will cause damage to this thread :-(

unfished business, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:14 (eighteen years ago)

Hah! No you aren't!

This is because I haven't been on very many dates though.

Colonel Poo, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:14 (eighteen years ago)

i can only think of things which would probably make just as much if not more sense on the other thread.

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:15 (eighteen years ago)

Yes! I am the only ILX0r who has NOT been rescused from a house that WAS on fire!

Masonic Boom, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:15 (eighteen years ago)

I'd be prepared to give "...had an alcoholic drink in the past 18 months" a shot (although I'd probably be surprised if it flew).

peteR, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:27 (eighteen years ago)

...had an alcoholic drink in the past 18 minutes

Tom D., Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:28 (eighteen years ago)

I own quite a lot of B&S albums. Hardly listen to any of them, though.

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 15:58 (eighteen years ago)

ever had or wanted a credit card?

emsk, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:01 (eighteen years ago)

I wish I was that ILXor :(

onimo, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:02 (eighteen years ago)

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:03 (eighteen years ago)

I've never had mine own credit card - my mum put me on hers, tho, so I'm probably excluded.

It only ever used to be annoying when I wanted to hire cars. But now I don't drive, so I'm OK.

Masonic Boom, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:03 (eighteen years ago)

emsk: Easy way to get a good credit history=get loads of credit cards and cut them up. People I know have had problems because they have had no cards. Sad, but unfortunately true.

peteR, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:04 (eighteen years ago)

driven a car ?

Ste, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:05 (eighteen years ago)

I've never had a credit card! I've wanted one occasionally, though.

Laurel, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:06 (eighteen years ago)

I was going to say, I am the only ILX0r who has never been legally able to vote...

But then I realised that now I am! And I'm downloading the registration form! Woo!

Masonic Boom, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:10 (eighteen years ago)

nor me, Ste

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:10 (eighteen years ago)

Credit cards are pretty useful for some things as long as you don't fall into the trap of actually borrowing money that way.

Michael White, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:12 (eighteen years ago)

ugh, i've had to take mine out of my wallet as i've gone on a number of record buying binges in the past few weeks. my moment of clarity came when i was typing in my cc # to purchase a 7" for almost $80.00

FOR A SEVEN INCH!!! but god damn i do love my records.

chicago kevin, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:15 (eighteen years ago)

We had credit cards until Laura died, then I cut them all up and settled whatever was owing on them. Since then I've had no inclination to want them again, nor do I miss them.

Marcello Carlin, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:15 (eighteen years ago)

Noodle Vague, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:18 (eighteen years ago)

DJ Mencap, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:18 (eighteen years ago)

I've had 2 driving lessons, otherwise I haven't driven one either.

Noodle Vague, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:19 (eighteen years ago)

blueski, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:20 (eighteen years ago)

okay nobody's gotten me on the vacation thing yet.. . .

(geez, kevin, burn those cards already)

Ms Misery, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:34 (eighteen years ago)

I have never held an iPod in my hand, let alone had the earbuds from one in my ears. This also applies to all other MP3 players. I might have a few ILX compeers in this instance, but only a few.

Aimless, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:51 (eighteen years ago)

haha, i've never driven a car either :}

t**t, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 16:54 (eighteen years ago)

I've only broken one bone in my life: my middle finger. (I put it in to a washing machine belt when I was two. It's still clawed and deformed.)

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 17:20 (eighteen years ago)

I've never even had to wear a school uniform. Trendy Norf London comps full of meedja types' kids all the way!

chap, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 18:23 (eighteen years ago)

I've not seen the "Godfather"

jel --, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 18:49 (eighteen years ago)

I have not:

regarded "Work It" by Missy Elliott as a masterpiece
broken a bone
watched Titanic
been to America
owned a Belle and Sebastian album
been rescued from a burning house
knowingly heard anything by Arcade Fire
had an alcoholic drink in the past 18 minutes
had a cavity
gone to public school
seen the "Godfather"

Zora, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 18:55 (eighteen years ago)

The public school thing was a joek!

I have only seen one scene from Titanic. Several times.

Noodle Vague, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 18:57 (eighteen years ago)

i haven't seen most of the godfather. saw about 20 minutes then switched it off bc it was boring (ok i was about 14 and might have changed my mind but in general i don't get the fuss about gangsters. tried to watch the sopranos too and got bored).

emsk, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 19:00 (eighteen years ago)

taken ecstasy
read a book related to music journalism(unless you count the marilyn manson autobiography i read in one sitting at a bookstore for some reason)

Am I the only ILXor who has been rescued from a burning house?

I rescued myself from a burning house, if that counts.

I reckon I am the only ilX0r who has never danced a crazy mambo with Ned Raggett. This pains me.

Matt, Wednesday, 14 March 2007 23:31 (eighteen years ago)

I've never even met another ILXor, apart from Lukey and Pete b and they're long gone.
