Do you squash house varmints or gently try to catch them and put them outside?

Cockroaches & flies excepted, I try to sneak pieces of cardstock under the spiders/moths/mantises, etc. They do not deserve death or an indoor life.

Hobo spiders are the obvious exception. i woke up once with one next to my face & without thinking I grabbed scissors and just snipped it in two. Why I had scissors in my bed I don't know.

No house varmints in San Francisco. Except for my cats, who get special privs.

I tried to save a nice big spider under a glass with a bit of card the other day for outdoorsness, but I acidentally squished one of his legs and I think he wasnt well when I chucked him outside :(

I let the flies live. I save the spiders w/ dixie cups. I've never seen a roach here. Wasps can fucking die, though.

if there weren't so fucking many of them i'd be nicer to the gigantic Wolf Spiders that invade my room periodically

i usually leave beatles and such alone. cockroaches get an immediate death sentence.

I was just thinking, whatever happened to McCratney's "Give My Regards to Broad Street"? I hope there is not a revival after he dies. So don't kill him because I want the answer to be delayed as long as possible.

McCratney

A far superior spelling.

one year passes...

My sister puts bowls over insects she finds on the floor, and just lets them sit there for days until she is absolutely certain they are dead.

She put one over a caterpillar in her kitchen & when she picked it back up it had made a chrysalis in the bowl.
