i think maybe that's part of the reason i was not inclined to suggest a secret board and also that, i don't know, ilx doesn't seem like an inherently women's issues-y place, so it wouldn't occur to me to ask the mods to create a secret board for that purpose here. (not that ilx is anti-feminist, just that its reason for existing is different.) though i don't know if there's a big difference between that a designated thread. if there are people besides me who would participate in a secret board, and it's not too annoying for the mods, i would definitely post on one.
