march isn't over yet, but this month has been crummy for me and i'm ready to see if april's any better.

1) upcoming this week: ooioo, pizzeria mozza, karaoke
2) walking (my legs feel so strong right now, and the weather's been beautiful)
3) living alone
4) days off that are actual days off, i.e. no obligations, no errands
5) potable water, lots of it
6) reyner banham loves los angeles (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1524953392810656786)
7) my new hair color (nothing drastic, i just took it up a few shades)
8) kiehl's rosewater toner
9) the mediocre-but-reliable cafeteria sushi that i seem to eat twice a week and haven't gotten sick from yet
10) competitive figure skating (watching it)

6. Earth's in-store show at Easy Street on the Saturday
7. "Fred Schneider Sings Jello Biafra, the Sequel" (perhaps)
8. Back down here, Acid Mothers Temple on the 13th
9. Getting back to the garden now that I'm not frickin' sick anymore
10. Uh, everything else (spring vegetables and fruits, travel plans, cooking, friends, etc. etc. etc.!)

(10A: and sleep. I'll need that.)

Rock Hardy, Thursday, 12 April 2007 20:14 (eighteen years ago)

i switched it up a bit on yall

1 is for the $1.06 in my bank account
2 is for the double whammy of no credit left on the ol' visa
3 is the number of days i've been subsisting on leftovers my mom sent me home with after easter (thanks mom!)
4 is the number of weeks until my next paycheque due to a pay period shift that leaves me in the lurch
5 is roughly the amount of dollars in hundreds i get paid tomorrow due to a couple of sick days and an early day off to vote
6 sounds like sex and it's been a while
7 the rough number of dollars, in tens, that i had to pay the police cos i got drunk for free at my friends house and tried to walk home down the middle of the street at 4am and gave them lip so they drove me home... nto a ticket though, thank god, just a fine
8 the number of unpaid overtime hours i've worked as of wednesday this week. but they paid for my dinner a couple times so i am calling it quits.
9 is what i am afraid the grocery store will tell me when i try and use debit in a couple of weeks, assuming my teller is german
10 of april was two days ago, WHY THE FUCK IS IT STILL SNOWING LIKE CRAZY

Will M., Thursday, 12 April 2007 20:26 (eighteen years ago)

nto a ticket though, thank god, just a fine

wait a minute, they just asked for money?

Ms Misery, Thursday, 12 April 2007 20:37 (eighteen years ago)

err, no. i think i misspoke. whatever i got won't show up on my record, but i did have to pay for it. i did it online through a government website and stuff. maybe it /was/ a ticket? i know nothing about the law because i've never had a brush with it until now.

Will M., Thursday, 12 April 2007 20:38 (eighteen years ago)

tickets produce fines. . .I just thought they scammed you for some cash. damn pigs.

Ms Misery, Thursday, 12 April 2007 20:39 (eighteen years ago)

yeah, i'm an idiot... i just remembered that i paid for it on a website called "paytickets.ca". Heh.
