That Lifetime is #1 might explain the increase in female niche-marketing, in America at least. Has anyone seen "Harmony: The Cereal for Women"? And Quaker has just released "Nutrition for Women", an oatmeal formulated especially for "the special needs of women". Ick. So I think this trend is catching on. Anyway, I've tried Harmony, and it tastes like Frosted Flakes, but it apparently has estrogen in it, or something. Not sure myself.

It's because they run the Xena and Gabrielle show ~50 times per week. The last time I remember hearing which cable channel was highest rated it was the USA channel. It's the bland, general-appeal stuff that gets the numbers on cable, screw narrow-casting.
