'The Indiequirer' - not as bad as it sounds

Has anyone ever read this? 'The Indiequirer', www.theindiequirer.com. Yet another low-rent Onion, but this one has its merits. Check out the archives..some good stuff including "Several Fans Injured in Mosh Pit at Red House Painters Show", "Secret Boy Band Past of Steven Malkmus Uncovered", "Tortoise Ripped Apart by Lip Sync Scandal", etc.

Then again, I am easily amused.

Errgh, indiequirer.com. Got the address wrong the first time.

That url doesn't work. The headlines sound pretty corny though....very unpromising...."check it out, it's serious arty brainy indie bands busting "commoner" pop antics instead of being their usual low-key dork selves....let's repeat this gag 300 times".....face it, white people aren't funny.

Oho. Well, I'm not white either, but I still found it funny. Or at least funnier than the Onion's been these days (like that's so hard.)

OK, OK, I was a little harsh.....white people aren't funny *except* for Steven Wright, K.I.T.H., Norm MacDonald, that mark s guy when he uses exclamation points, and about 35 other people. Cool?

Well, at least we have natural rhythm.

Some of my best friends are indie.

Don't you think we could do better jokes than the indiquirer right here on this board. Cue musical number...

Is 5ive a musical number?
