Oh please. It's not like I'm the only link there, for a start. Might matter some more if I ever got around to pitching to PTW but I'm a lazy rat bastard and everyone seems to have already covered things by the time I figure out I want to talk about 'em.

(That's not a complaint about PTW, I should note! Like I said, I tend towards the lazy -- well either that or I'm busy cooking, taking photographs, etc. Pay rate's pretty nice, though, I should be less slack.)

I am, however, now wondering when there will be the overall iPlace tool for one's iPhone that allows you to track your last.fm scrobble via a bookmark on deli.cio.us that in turns links to Facebook via an LJ comment on one's Myspace page, which in turn allows you to blog-comment on everything else. One random flame of the Arcade Fire somewhere and you could destroy the Internet.

Bummed to hear that Weingarten isn't drumming for P&L anymore; doubly bummed to hear about it from a humorous infographic. That last record was a beast. If I wasn't far from NYC and way out of practice I'd probably try out for the gig.

I've always kind of assumed that there's some good content on Paper Thin Walls, but it's really hard to get past the too-Pitchforky main page and the annoying blog/news aggregator that makes you click twice to get to every link, and the recent redesign didn't do much to improve either. A more unique and/or user-friendly layout would go a long way.

As for the news aggregator (aka The Bullhorn), if you click on the name of the source it comes from--either click the logo or the little bold faced source name at the end of the entry--it goes right to the story in a popup with no second click-thru!
