I like Foster's a lot but Fairly Odd Parents and SpongeBob make me roffle more. Foster's is more unique, I'll give it that.

Noodle Vague, Sunday, 1 April 2007 22:21 (eighteen years ago)

the people who dress up as things are at it again.

fosters pretty much RULES. in the last few years i have watched it a lot with my nephew and my friend's kids -- even watch it myself every now and again!

Mike McGooney-gal, Sunday, 1 April 2007 22:27 (eighteen years ago)

Quite possibly one of the best kids' shows ever.

Tantrum The Cat, Sunday, 1 April 2007 22:32 (eighteen years ago)

rufus doesn't really watch pbs shows that much anymore (he likes noggin and playhouse disney) and i kinda miss watching George Shrinks.

scott seward, Sunday, 1 April 2007 22:35 (eighteen years ago)

Foster's is awesome.

HI DERE, Monday, 2 April 2007 03:33 (eighteen years ago)

the episodes with Cheese = funniest shit ever:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6hG7L9NKPA

definitely better than almost all of Adult Swim's original programming, save 2 or 3 shows. sometimes Bloo gets super annoying, though.

Alex in Baltimore, Monday, 2 April 2007 03:44 (eighteen years ago)

I LIKE EDUARDO THE BEST HE IS AWESOME. This plus Powerpuff Girls = I love Craig McCracken.

Dimension 5ive, Monday, 2 April 2007 04:36 (eighteen years ago)

Do they still show Arthur on PBS, talk about classic

A B C, Monday, 2 April 2007 04:46 (eighteen years ago)

It's not as good as Samurai Jack.

chap, Monday, 2 April 2007 11:33 (eighteen years ago)

My kids are all about 'Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy', 'The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy' and 'Ben Ten' now so we hardly ever get to see Foster's :(

onimo, Monday, 2 April 2007 11:41 (eighteen years ago)

On holiday, I was very much enjoying My Gym Partner's A Monkey.

aldo, Monday, 2 April 2007 11:42 (eighteen years ago)

MGPAM has its moments. Of the three I mentioned I think I like Billy & Mandy best, though Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy has given me a few belly laughs.

onimo, Monday, 2 April 2007 11:44 (eighteen years ago)

does recess still come on? i was so about that in high school for some reason...

tehresa, Monday, 2 April 2007 12:21 (eighteen years ago)

Guys the best episode of this show was when they recreated the battle of Helm's Deep from Two Towers.

nickalicious, Monday, 2 April 2007 13:24 (eighteen years ago)

I've never heard of this. I'll have to check it out.

Ms Misery, Monday, 2 April 2007 13:26 (eighteen years ago)

not a cartoon, but does anyone else ever get freaked out by Lazytown? it's so druggy.

http://croutonboy.typepad.com/photos/things_i_just_dont_get/lazytown.jpg

scott seward, Monday, 2 April 2007 17:44 (eighteen years ago)

as far as Icelandic imports go, it really will take Matthew Barney to make Bjork as bonkers as Lazytown.

scott seward, Monday, 2 April 2007 17:45 (eighteen years ago)

I had to watch Lazytown like 10 times before I realized all of pink girl's songs have the exact same backing tracks (they do, right?). I'm still not sure why dude's name is Spartacus though.

nickalicious, Monday, 2 April 2007 17:50 (eighteen years ago)

Me & the boy really enjoyed this one commercial they ran awhile ago on Cartoon Network for BILLY AND MANDY'S BIG BOOGIE ADVENTURE where they basically just said BILLY AND MANDY'S BIG BOOGIE ADVENTURE over and over again. He likes that show (Grim) a lot but I just can't get into it.

Do you guys get Nicktoons? It is our weekend fav - ZIM, Ren & Stimpy, Martin Mystery (show is cool), etc.

nickalicious, Monday, 2 April 2007 17:56 (eighteen years ago)

Didn't that lazytown actress come out recently? (I know, she's only 15 or something, but apparantly that doesn't matter in Icelazytownland)

StanM, Monday, 2 April 2007 18:05 (eighteen years ago)

"not sure why dude's name is Spartacus though."

Sporticus! cuz he's so active.

"Do they still show Arthur on PBS, talk about classic"

we just watched it this morning. it was the episode where joshua redman and yo yo ma play the crazy bus theme.

scott seward, Monday, 2 April 2007 19:08 (eighteen years ago)

you mean yo mama

A B C, Monday, 2 April 2007 20:47 (eighteen years ago)

"Fuck yeah!" gets me amazingly happy every time I see it and I can't pinpoint precisely why.

Curt1s Stephens, Monday, 2 April 2007 20:50 (eighteen years ago)

Dude the best PBS show is Zobumafoo or whatever it's called, those guys are great - "what's that lemur over there whipping at those hippos? I don't know, let's go find out!".

nickalicious, Monday, 2 April 2007 20:53 (eighteen years ago)

Oh Scott thanks to the tenth power for the Oswald love. It brings such peace and calm and joy. Also, I seem to be the only one familiar with it.

Also, he is voiced by Kevin Arnold of the wonder years! (I can never remember his real name.)

Abbott, Monday, 2 April 2007 21:34 (eighteen years ago)

I love ZABOOMAFOO too. "Leap! Leap! Leap!"

Abbott, Monday, 2 April 2007 21:35 (eighteen years ago)

"Also, he is voiced by Kevin Arnold of the wonder years!"

squiggy is good on it too. it's a dream of a show. so lovely to look at and it really is so nice and leisurely and calm.

scott seward, Monday, 2 April 2007 21:48 (eighteen years ago)

BTW Scott did you ever see any of season 2 Avatar? Like, any episodes since Toph joined the posse? It is really fucking rad and I feel sad sometimes watching it as my interest in it has long since surpassed my son's, but even sadder that there's still no confirmed air dates for when season 3 will start.

nickalicious, Monday, 2 April 2007 21:55 (eighteen years ago)

Also guys, where's the love for CLASS OF 3000? It's funny in just a classic, kind-hearted way and the songs and characters are totally great.

Abbott, Monday, 2 April 2007 22:01 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah I love Class of 3000! I hope Andre puts out a CD of those songs instead of whatever other CD he might put out next. There was one about being a ninja that totally rooled.

nickalicious, Monday, 2 April 2007 22:09 (eighteen years ago)

sadly, i lost track of avatar - i think it's just on when i'm not watching - but i am still gonna get season 1 & 2 on dvd for sure, cuz i definitely loved the early episodes that i saw.

i still haven't seen class of 3000! it must be a timing thing.

scott seward, Monday, 2 April 2007 22:49 (eighteen years ago)

It's on Friday nights and it's totally awesome.

Abbott, Monday, 2 April 2007 22:53 (eighteen years ago)

"Hey SonNY, can we take it to the bridge?" "Uh............okay."

Abbott, Monday, 2 April 2007 22:58 (eighteen years ago)

four months pass...

I seriously can't stop watching Foster's. It may be my favorite half-hour cartoon ever.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 7 August 2007 18:49 (seventeen years ago)

No dude, Mr. Meaty pwns all.

Stevie D, Tuesday, 7 August 2007 19:04 (seventeen years ago)

Foster's sucks -weirdly shaped characters in shallow 2d animation

Heave Ho, Tuesday, 7 August 2007 19:10 (seventeen years ago)

I've gone off Foster's sadly :(

kv_nol, Wednesday, 8 August 2007 08:32 (seventeen years ago)

three months pass...

anyone seen The Secret Show? pretty funny! old news for BBC watchers, i guess, but we only started getting it in 2007 here. Rufus loves it.

the only show I want to see these days is the Backyardigans. i love it so. best music on television. or anywhere these days maybe.

that volcano sisters episode of backyardigans was so awesome:

scott seward, Thursday, 27 March 2008 03:17 (seventeen years ago)
