Classic for his toupee in JFK alone.

"We'll put poison inside his beard, it'll make his beard fall off. He'll look fuckin' ridiculous without his BEARD!"

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Saturday, 7 April 2007 00:05 (nineteen years ago)

Eisbaer, Saturday, 7 April 2007 05:53 (nineteen years ago)

My brain says something respectable but my heart says Home Alone 2

A B C, Saturday, 7 April 2007 05:57 (nineteen years ago)

that picture w/ Reggie made me think he could be a credible Joe Torre in some Yankee made-for-espn movie

Casino does it for me because of "head in vice" scene and "cornfield baseball" scene.

i used to harass a friend at work with mysterious voicemails from the joes pesci soundboard:

Pesci in Casino >>>>>>>>>> and scarier than Pesci in Goodfellas.

Never thought the "You think I'm funny?" scene was all that good.

Mr. Snrub, Monday, 9 April 2007 00:37 (nineteen years ago)

WELL THEN YOU SIR ARE A MORON.

he may be quite a bit scarier in casino but he's also a lot less fun.

"What do ya mean, funny? Let me understand this cause, I don't know maybe it's me, I'm a little fucked up maybe, but I'm funny how? I mean, funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh... I'm here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?"

Tommy DeVito: Oh I like this one... One dog goes one way, the other dog goes the other way, and this guy's sayin', "Whadda ya want from me?'

deeznuts, Monday, 9 April 2007 01:01 (nineteen years ago)

Coincidence, I just watched Casino again on the weekend.

Casino does it for me because of "head in vice" scene and "cornfield baseball" scene.

And where he stabs the guy in the throat with the pen. Psycho!

i didn't vote for my cousin vinnie, though it would be the choice for actors of lesser caliber than pesci. still, it deserves SOME recognition for being responsible for the following:

Eisbaer, Monday, 9 April 2007 23:26 (nineteen years ago)

the amazon.com review of the above:

"Amazon.com
Your eyes do not deceive you--that is indeed the actor Joe Pesci on the cover of this album of "songs," which includes one celebrity "rap." In the annals of celebrity musical undertakings, Pesci's disc does not approach the sublimely horrible work of, say, William Shatner. And the disc is intended to be humorous, as Pesci revisits the character Vincent LaGuardia Gambini from the Oscar-winning hit My Cousin Vinny. Fans of that film and of Pesci's wise-guy character acting will no doubt look beyond the disc's major faults and just enjoy it as a good laugh. It does bear noting, however, that the guy has no business even pretending to sing (let alone rap); he's more in love with words like "bitch" and "fuck" than a hyperactive delinquent 13-year-old, and the lounge- and swing-inspired music is uninspired hack work. There is a cleaned-up version of the disc, but it's hard to imagine there being much left after the edits. --Mike McGonigal"

CLASSIC

Thanks ILX for introducing me to Joe Pesci’s gangsta-rap song “Wise Guy”

Mr. Snrub, Sunday, 10 November 2019 18:11 (six years ago)

"The Death Collector" is something else. Pesci is great in it and I'm positive Marty had it on his mind when making "Goodfellas".

Pesci is the coolest celeb I’ve met. I was about 9 or 10 & he asks what’s my favorite movie he was in. “Home Alone is really fun but Goodfellas” he gave my dad the Pesci stare & pulled out a wad of cash, hands me a 100, & said “don’t spend it on candy you might need bail one day” https://t.co/fYSuD5L8Ak
