Not exactly an answer to your question, but here's what my resume (as submitted to a non-profit worker justice org) says about my waitering

Serve customers in fast-paced, demanding, fine dining environment while acting as a liason between workers and management to address workplace issues.

I thought it said something about interacting with a wide variety of people and making them all giddy with customer service satisfaction tingliness.
