SRSLY, what kind of weirdo prefers the unbelievably lame DEATH PROOF to the totally brilliant PLANET TERROR?

The endless chatter in the 2nd half of Death Proof is PARTICULARLY stupid.

I was disappointed that the director's cut didn't expand on the cheerleader's story.

The funniest line in the whole thing was "A movie about cheerleaders."

i rented this a week or two ago & never got around to finally rescreening it. but from memory, i agree that a)the cheerleader thing needed to be expanded upon b)about 20 minutes of dialog between the second group of girls shouldve been cut. still blows planet terror away though (which was almost completely forgettable in a way that dp simply was not).

& thanksgiving was the best part of the feature, & rosario dawson over mcgowan by a country mile. its funny how you guys are all so right & yet so very wrong.

Thanksgiving was my favorite of the trailers, but Planet Terror was so much better than Death Proof that it's not even funny.

i think its kinda weird how, judging by this poll & what i remember from the initial ilx reaction, planet terror has apparently aged much better than death proof, either in ppls minds or upon review. i wouldve thought very much the opposite. xp

having now seen the cut down Death Proof, I find it less annoying, but still think PLANET TERROR rules.

saw death proof a coupla weeks ago (think it was the director's cut). i wanted to log on and write horrible things about it but didn't get to a pc in time to care. first part is cool but pretty unsatisfying the second act is hopelessly shit.

zoe bell may be a great stunt woman, but she's no actress. very annoying. cheerleader was mcclane's daughter in die hard 4.0?

I would have chosen Planet Terror, just coz of the rose mcgowan gun for a leg thing, I'm easily taken in.
