Have you ever awoken from a dream still boiling with rage?

I dreamed I was participating in a choir festival. When we got on stage I realized my choir had not prepared, our director had not rehearsed us, and I had never heard the songs. Even worse, some of our members were mental patients and were wandering the stage muttering instead of singing, and our director was just sitting with the choir and saying beat-style poetry under his breath.

The crowd got more and more snickery and restless and finally, as a deliberate insult, the next choir filed onto stage in front of us and got ready to sing while we were still performing. I went up to their director, a Hawaiian man with a mohawk, and shouted, so the audience could hear "THAT WAS ONE OF THE MOST DISGUSTING, RUDEST THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN! IF YOU WANTED US TO STOP PERFORMING ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS TALK TO THE JUDGES, BUT WHAT YOU DID WAS JUST TOO MUCH!"

I stormed out of the festival and then woke up in a rage like I've never felt.

BUT YOU DIDN'T PREPARE!

I know, but it wasn't my fault! And that didn't give that Hawaiian jackass the right to insult my mentally ill choirmates!

Why the hell did he book you in the first place? WTF was the thinking?! Jesus!

It was one of those high school or college choir competitions - that kind of festival, not a pro event.

The whole thing reminded me a little of one of those *underdog competitor* movies like Cool Runnings, except without the heartwarming ending

When I woke up I immediately started telling my wife about the dream and she says I was yelling pretty loud and then I punched my pillow.

Did you not think of the ramifications of such terrible violence? How would it affect your mentally ill choirmates?!

I have dreams like this all the fucking time :( Usually involving people not listening to me/ignoring me until I'm in hysterics with frustration.

Weirdly, I havent had one for quite a long time now.

no, but I dreamed that I won a $39,000 raffle a few nights ago and it took me a few moments after waking up to realize that I was not, in fact, financially solvent.

Oh, and to answer the question, yes...The only example I can think of right now, though, doesn't fit the question exactly...I was solving a murder mystery with Adam Sandler, and we hit it off real well...Then, we were about to find the answer when all of a sudden my dad woke me up. I WAS ANGRY

one year passes...

I had a dream last night that I had been in this older lady's house with a few people and that while they were all in the other room, I noticed a LOT of dust, big particles, and even some chips of wood on her (stationary) turntable and decided to use the record brush I use in real life to try to clean it all off the record for her. I tried a number of times but wasn't very successful, there was just too much there. She came into the room and got very angry with me telling me I didn't know what I was doing, that stuff was supposed to be there because it was a "Swiss pressing". I proceeded to tell her it didn't matter what kind of pressing it was, vinyl is supposed to be as free of that stuff as possible and it will damage her needle, etc. We argued and argued and I awoke in a rage.
