deeznuts, Thursday, 26 April 2007 18:54 (eighteen years ago)

or 'someone told me abt the madeleine bit but I pretend'

RJG, Thursday, 26 April 2007 18:56 (eighteen years ago)

Dude I haven't read any of that shit. At all. The Monty Python skit got me by tho...it ends with THE GIRL WITH THE BIGGEST TITS.

She's reading al 7 in May and then making herself a tour shirt w/the volumes instead of different cities on the back & the jolly r. on the front.

Abbott, Thursday, 26 April 2007 19:07 (eighteen years ago)

ive never read proust, but i do know about the madeleine thinger.
good job abbott!

First thing I thought of when I saw the thread title. Including how it ends.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 26 April 2007 19:19 (eighteen years ago)

Is that how the series ends? I hope so.

Abbott, Thursday, 26 April 2007 19:34 (eighteen years ago)

Abbott, Thursday, 26 April 2007 20:03 (eighteen years ago)

Abbott, Thursday, 26 April 2007 20:08 (eighteen years ago)

RJG, Thursday, 26 April 2007 20:31 (eighteen years ago)

Abbott, Thursday, 26 April 2007 20:33 (eighteen years ago)

RJG, Thursday, 26 April 2007 21:10 (eighteen years ago)

deeznuts, Thursday, 26 April 2007 21:13 (eighteen years ago)

not you

RJG, Thursday, 26 April 2007 21:45 (eighteen years ago)

It is a madeleine cookie (baked in a clam-shaped mold) with fencing swords under it instead of pirate swords, and the madeleine instead of a totally buttrock skull.

Abbott, Thursday, 26 April 2007 22:31 (eighteen years ago)

the madeleine isn't really that big

RJG, Thursday, 26 April 2007 22:50 (eighteen years ago)

i dont think its life-size

max, Thursday, 26 April 2007 22:54 (eighteen years ago)

in the book it isn't really that big

RJG, Thursday, 26 April 2007 22:55 (eighteen years ago)

In Search of Lost Time or Remembrance of Things Past (fr. À la recherche du temps perdu) is a semi-autobiographical novel in seven volumes by Marcel Proust. His most prominent work, it is popularly known for its extended length and the notion of involuntary memory, the most famous example being the "episode of the madeleine".

max, Thursday, 26 April 2007 22:58 (eighteen years ago)

the most famous example being before page 50

RJG, Thursday, 26 April 2007 23:10 (eighteen years ago)

I was going from the animated series, episode 1.4: "Swann befriends Maddie the giant cookie."

Abbott, Thursday, 26 April 2007 23:33 (eighteen years ago)

it isn't a v faithful adaptation
