He bombed on the Daily Show though. "Uh hi, can I get a ride back to the audience?" Insomniac is more up Attell's alley than standup, because they can edit out all the jokes that don't work! His nightlife persona is great though, like your salty older cousin who got kicked out of the army.

definitely the best thing he's done... i kind of like his standup and appearances on the daily show because you can tell he knows about 40% of his routines are absolute crap and he just blags on through anyway. gotta respect a straight guy who makes fun of drunk, white-bred college students (WOOOOOOO!) one moment and flirts with gay bondage guys the next.

By any color, I mean any variety. Just to clarify.

But this show isn't as good as "Travel Sick" was, with that crazy Brit who would go to foreign countries and have to complete challenges like, "Find the filthiest toilet in Korea," or "Fuck a watermelon" (which is apparently an actual custom in Morocco). It was great comedy -- real joy in the misery of others. And the host was such a sport about it all!

I don't think they took it off, per se, it just ended. It was meant to only be a few episodes.

Yeah, what happened to Travel Sick? I saw only one episode but it was great. After that, totally disappeared. If it was only a few episodes they need to run those again sometime.

Anyway, Insomniac is indeed the Best... Show... Ever... with the best episode being the one in Oakland when Attell hangs out with the crime scene clean up guy.
