jumping the gun by a few days. i'll post my 6-10 once may actually arrives.

1) school's out
2) celebrated #1 last night at classy downtown bar with great selection of whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches and a dj (with turntables!) who was playing a sexy c & w version of "i'll be your baby tonight"
3) celebrating #1 again tonight with a banquet at a winery
4) rolled out of bed this afternoon around 1pm and fought off hangover from #2 with huevos con chorizo (and rice and beans and grilled corn tortillas and red onions and pickled carrots and spicy salsa roja and the diced-tomato-and-onion-and-cilantro kind of salsa and lemon wedges) at my favorite local taqueria
5) went to goodwill looking for ways to accessorize my outfit for #3 and walked out of there with a shirt, a banana republic cardigan, two coat-length button-down sweater jacket thingies (one tan, one brown), and a pair of brown leather enzo angiolini low-heel pumps, all for $28.45

1) closing on purchase of first house on Tuesday
2) mushroom foraging with actual university mycologists for safety tommorrow
3) asparagus is everywhere and cheap and is marvelous when roasted for maybe 7 minutes at 500 degrees with olive oil, lemon juice, and salt
4) live in place with beautiful spring weather instead of snow until early april
5) bike riding is incredibly fun
6) flowers and leaves and grass and greenery everywhere and smelling good
7) iced coffee with milk
8) seeing the Atlantic and Pacific (well, New York and Seattle) within a three week span
9) insurance guy and estate sale guy independently telling us what a steal we got on our house in small, weird real estate market
10) having a grill again

1) Finally almost done with all this legal bullshit surrounding DUI from 7 months ago.
2) Just spent a week with my peoples in small-town Ohio. Lovely weather, lots of biking and drinking and bongrips. Some good parties too.
3) Pretty much secured an apartment for next year.
4) All these awesome folks moving to Philadelphia in the next six months.
5) My small cycad (palm-like tree) didn't die despite my being gone for so long.
6) Going to see Luciano in NYC on Tuesday.
7) Also going to see a bunch of exhibits and buy records at Halcyon.
8) Found out that a lot of my friends will actually be at school in the fall with me! Yeah.
9) Got some great feedback and complments on DJ sets during week in Ohio. People like Reinhard Voigt! So weird.
10) Finally not sleeping on a couch.
