I can smell burnt matches, what does that mean? (Other than someone is striking matches)

I remember hearing that some epileptics can taste/smell acetone (pear drops, nailvarnish remover) before they have a fit.

I'm sure there are other signs similar to this too, but what are they?

Not sure if it's an old wives tale or not but a creased earlobe can be a sign of heart problems.

Does it mean anything if your earlobe is attached to your neck (a non-lobe?)
