LEMURS AT THE ZOO!!!!!!

I'm having a shitty time at work (restructuring, lots of stress) at the moment so I took today off and went to the zoo.

The lemur enclosure at Paignton Zoo is a "walk-in" exhibit - they have a hut and a net "cage" but they can leave these and run around a whole forest area.

They can even jump on your girlfriend's lap (practically) if theyre so inclined.

Also bats, they have fruitbats. We'd only ever seen them inside their nocturnal dark room before, behind glass and chilling out. But three or four were outside in their aviary thing, climbing around the nets, trees, and wires, eating fruit, and weeing! Have you ever seen a bat wee while haning upsidedown?! Fucking amazing! They do a kind of somersault; flip themselves over, wee, and flip themselves back! Outstanding!

Lemurs are so amazing. I saw so many while in Madagascar, even had a few climbing on my shoulder and stuff. I wish i could find these pictures cos the lemurs looked so sweet.
