Pringles are a good tool for transporting chewed up Pringles to your mouth.

Mark C, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:43 (eighteen years ago)

we call these "carrier foods" in my family.

nori, when you haven't done anything with it yet, looks like this pic from "seaweed.ie" -

http://www.seaweed.ie/uses_general/images/nori_sheets_small.jpg

it's used mainly to wrap up rice - sometimes in sushi. so sushi can contain TWO foods like this!

Ms Misery, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:50 (eighteen years ago)

More fries!

kingfish, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:51 (eighteen years ago)

what would you transport with fries that could possible be better than it?

Salt & Vinegar, mayo, BBQ sauce, Chip Spice (Hull only).

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:52 (eighteen years ago)

sometimes chicken wings... beats drinking the hot sauce right outta the bottle.

anhell*ca, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:52 (eighteen years ago)

Salt & Vinegar, mayo, BBQ sauce, Chip Spice (Hull only).

those are condiments, not food.

Ms Misery, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

what would you transport with fries that could possible be better than it?

curry sauce! also malt vinegar.

get bent, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

Don't diminish my condiments!

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:53 (eighteen years ago)

Oh yeah, curry sauce is another good one.

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:54 (eighteen years ago)

I mainly use Pork Pie as a mustard delivery vehicle.

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:54 (eighteen years ago)

I love condiments! mustard, salsa. . .pile it on! But I still don't think they're food. In that case we're talking about condiment-transportaion foods in which I'm perfectly fine naming fries/chips.

coke > red licorice is debatable

^@^, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:59 (eighteen years ago)

For the purposes of this thread, it is legitimate to count foods that are primarily used as an excuse to consume condiments, IF that's truly the only reason why you eat those foods. For example, you can say fries if you really only use fries as an excuse to eat ketchup, and not because of the delicious fry flavor. However, you would then be insane.

n/a, Friday, 4 May 2007 16:59 (eighteen years ago)

hmm, by this logic could I say lettuce leaves?

Ms Misery, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:01 (eighteen years ago)

tortilla chips are pretty damn good on their own

strongohulkington, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:02 (eighteen years ago)

especially with HINT OF LIME

strongohulkington, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:02 (eighteen years ago)

good ketchup makes mediocre fries tolerable

nothing beats a fresh tortilla with touch of butter and some really good salsa. ::drool::

Ms Misery, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:04 (eighteen years ago)

hmm, by this logic could I say lettuce leaves?

Mmmm ... I'll allow it.

n/a, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:05 (eighteen years ago)

cheerios as deliver mechanism for all the delicious stuff they put inside of OH'S cereal

strongohulkington, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:05 (eighteen years ago)

I don't like fries without some sort of condiment, even if it's just loads of pepper and salt.

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:06 (eighteen years ago)

The external link isn't working, sadly.

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:07 (eighteen years ago)

It'd be great if someone designed an edible robot, they could bring food to your mouth and then at the end of the meal you could eat them.

jel --, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:08 (eighteen years ago)

good ketchup makes mediocre fries tolerable

uh ketchup makes even great fries intolerable.

nathalie, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:09 (eighteen years ago)

You come from a Friterie culture, nath ;)

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:11 (eighteen years ago)

Crackers of all ilk.

nickalicious, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:12 (eighteen years ago)

Naan (this isn't to say naan isn't glorious).

nickalicious, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:12 (eighteen years ago)

xxpost I know. I loooooove fries on its own (probably as much as you hate that).

nathalie, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:13 (eighteen years ago)

Nick, but what about cheese naan? I love that (without anything else)

nathalie, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:13 (eighteen years ago)

Crackers of all ilk.

THE CHEEZ-IT IS PERFECT AS IS

strongohulkington, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:14 (eighteen years ago)

I don't hate them on their own, it's just that 95% of fries are incredibly bland on their own.

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:15 (eighteen years ago)

I would still eat all those fries.

Ms Misery, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:15 (eighteen years ago)

Anyway, I'm off to drink some beer, whose primary purpose is to aid in the transportation of drunk to my head.

Noodle Vague, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:17 (eighteen years ago)

spaghetti transports parmesan cheese

tremendoid, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:18 (eighteen years ago)

Toast points are traditionally used to transport caviar. No one ever eats toast points otherwise. They simply eat toast.

Aimless, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:19 (eighteen years ago)

pita bread?!?

WTF is wrong with you, pita bread >>>>> hummus

moonship journey to baja, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:19 (eighteen years ago)

moonship journey to baja, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:20 (eighteen years ago)

No one ever eats toast points otherwise.

Yes they do, for soft boiled eggs so you can get them in the shell.

So you're telling basically every Mexican who uses a tortilla as the main means of eating their food, and every Ethopian, that they are fat and deserve it? Nice, dumbass.

Ms Misery, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:32 (eighteen years ago)

naan bread gets my vote

kingfish, Friday, 4 May 2007 17:43 (eighteen years ago)
