I'm not really sure who my people are! I at first had that very stereotypical "but I'm just a white English-speaking American, I have no people!" Then I was like wait, those are a people, but do I want to be associated with them? Do I identify as "American, but liberal"? In either case, the fact that I have to insert a "but" shows we're pretty hateable, right? And what about the Armenian side of my family? I think that they're probably pretty industrious, but grandpa had a pair of shiftless Swedish coworkers who apparently soured him for life. I'm happy to use it as an excuse though:
