Why didn't I watch this movie sooner?

i'm shy (Abbott), Wednesday, 1 April 2009 22:01 (sixteen years ago)

Also is the book equal to it (and therefore worth reading)?

i'm shy (Abbott), Wednesday, 1 April 2009 22:02 (sixteen years ago)

lol @ poll thread that people actually voted in with zero posts

Ømår Littel (Jordan), Wednesday, 1 April 2009 22:14 (sixteen years ago)

didn't see this. would've voted for Jame Gumb. Frederica Bimmel? Wasn't she a great big fat person?

Yes, yes she was. I love this movie so much. I also LOVE the song that B Bill does the creepy dance to at the end. Here you can listen to it while watching some bizarre montage someone made from SotL stills.

poll is missing Precious, Buffalo Bill's dog

altered prostates (latebloomer), Thursday, 2 April 2009 02:17 (sixteen years ago)

What? What are some of those images in that video from? Who is the woman at the beginning? It looks like Janet Jackson. And the black & white pic of the other woman? And there is a dead brown animal (lamb?).

milk plasma (Jesse), Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:16 (sixteen years ago)

Yeah, I have no idea. It's almost creepier then the actual scene from the movie. Almost.

ENBB, Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:17 (sixteen years ago)

The brown animal is near a car and a picket sign it looks like.

milk plasma (Jesse), Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:21 (sixteen years ago)

BTW, I like that song.

milk plasma (Jesse), Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:21 (sixteen years ago)

By the way.

milk plasma (Jesse), Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:21 (sixteen years ago)

I know, it's so good. I LOVE it.

ENBB, Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:22 (sixteen years ago)

somewhat NSFW...

milk plasma (Jesse), Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:27 (sixteen years ago)

I lost it when I saw that in the theater and that scene came on. I am also sort of in love with Jason Mewes.

ENBB, Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:28 (sixteen years ago)

that song is so good

altered prostates (latebloomer), Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:29 (sixteen years ago)

OK, glad I'm not alone on this one.

ENBB, Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:30 (sixteen years ago)

I think I read somewhere that it was written specifically for the scene in SotL, but I could be wrong.

milk plasma (Jesse), Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:31 (sixteen years ago)

Interesting! One of my favorite Pulp songs was written specifically for a scene in a movie and when I found that out it made sense why it worked so well in the film. That would probably explain this too.

ENBB, Thursday, 2 April 2009 04:32 (sixteen years ago)

I have to admit I was annoying the shit out of my peers while watching by being like, "DAMN, who is that?" in various scenes. "Wolfgang Press?...I think it's Wolfgang Press...no fucking DAMN it's the Fall god I was so WRONG."

i'm shy (Abbott), Thursday, 2 April 2009 05:09 (sixteen years ago)

Yeah "Hip Preist" plays in the bg at one point in that scene doesnt it. Who is "Goodbye Horses" by? It kind of sounds like Modern English.

Abb the book is good! Its a lot gorier than the movie actually :| Harris is a shite pulp writer tbh but its a good holiday read ifn yr into horror boox.

one art, please (Trayce), Thursday, 2 April 2009 07:55 (sixteen years ago)
