"World's Finest Chocolate" C/D

my neighbor's daughters just conned me about 3 hours ago to buy 5 bars of "World's Finest Chocolate" from them -- I decided I'd just throw them away because I know from experience the world's finest chocolate is far from deserving of its title -- but yet here i am, stuffing half of a caramel chocolate bar in my gob while considerably drunk. who decided to scam these poor innocent school children into selling this shit and what's in it for them?? can anyone investigate these people?

It's definitely a scam for a good cause - they obviously make the shittiest, cheapest chocolate possible in order to maximize profit for charities.

I think they might be better off actually selling good chocolate and charging more though. I'm always hesitant to buy that stuff because it's so awful.

worse yet: i tore right through the precious pizza hut coupon to get to the chocolate in my hungry desperation

wow still with the pizza hut coupons that's awesome.

Oh god is this shit sold the world over or someting? It is the vilest excuse for chocolate I've ever eaten.

As your bowels clench in revulsion prior to your inevitable trip to the porcelain chair, console yourself with the fact that at least some of your hard earned is going to a worthwhile cause. Maybe.

Ha! Finally, one positive thing about living in Belgium: nobody tries to sell crap like that to us. :-)

otm, american chocolate is highly stratofied, and i will eat any of it that is put in fromnt of me. I will, however, harbor resentment toward the person who put bad chocolate in front of me.

William Curley's patisserie was on telly last night. MY GOD. I think this man might actually make the finest chocolate in the world, but I'll need to visit Richmond just to make sure.

His website is criminally lacking in pictures.

I love these bars. I know they're crap but they're still a nice treat for a couple of bucks. The almond ones are best.

They taste like wood to me.

When I was in little league, we sold these toffee crunch bars by some non-World's Finest Chocolate company. They were awesome, I think we went through three or four boxes. I wish I could remember which company sold them.
