Powering an ipod on another continent

My wife is going to London for 3 weeks (from NAmerica). Don't they have different electricity there? Doesn't the current drive on the other side of the wires?

If so, how does she recharge her Ipod? Does she have to go and buy British charger thingy?

Our electricity is politer and wryer than yours, but also more uptight.

Buy an adaptor at the airport. I'm sure they exist for not very much money.

We need three pins because ours is round electricity not tipping electricity.

Are the adapters legit, or does she have to buy it "outside" the airport from a guy in the parking garage?

You can buy a travel kit for iPods from the apple store, if you're worried about using third party adapters.

The Apple ones would be like five times more expensive surely?

You can probably buy decent, cheap ones in Britishes airports, but I'm not sure, I've never looked.

Oh, I'm sure there are perfectly decent third party ones available at airports. I use one that cost £3 with my 80Gb, but if peepee is wary of third party then the (expensive) apple option is there.

why not just get a USB wire, and then skank electricity from every PC that you see.
