Clapham.

Chiswick - it's on the river and so wins by default. The answer to the other two challenges was Clapham, obviously.

I like Chiswick - but only because my mate Ben grew up there and is terribly embarassed about the fact because he likes to pretend he is ghetto and street. So Chiswick provides ample piss take opportunites - it's all about the Benjamin - Straight Outta Chiswick etc.

Chiswick - if only for the Brewery.

Ah! the glories of West London. Lots of parks. As Dr C says you've got the river. The view form the district/picadilly line of Chiswick is simply beautiful, especially when the sun is setting. And of course there is a whole host of other great areas such as Ealing, Hammersmith, Acton, Shepherds Bush Hanwell etc. And the transport links are really good...Central line, Picadilly, District, North London Line, teh Uxbridge Road etc...The streets seem wider, ...jel = rose tinted glasses.

Is that Chiswick's new slogan?

Clapham! I have had more fun in Clarm than Chiswick which is where I spent an afternoon painting on clay and feeling vaguely stupid. Although if I do remember correctly, after I finished my guts were shrieking for BEER afterwards so I went over to drink with RickyT and Katie made me eat soya butter stuff for the first time EVAH but then again the goodness in that day is still getting OUT of Chiswick so.. CLAPHAM!

I HATE THE CENTRAL LINE.

Sarah, Thursday, 21 February 2002 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I cannot defend the central line.

To be fair, the only time I've been Chiswick was when I was lost. I'm sure it's lovely and posh me would love it really.

Clapham I can live with (Pavement caff and Picture House and, erm, that's about it) but north-of-the-river West London I get very dewy- eyed about. Used to live in Stamford Brook during the week and still feel very attached to W4.
