There are FOUR generations in my pic - only now my hair's turning white as well am I really starting to see the resemblance between me, my mum and my grandma! Alice looks more like her dad's side I think. (No chance she won't inherit all our shortsightedness though...)

Kv_nol - it's trouser protection for instances of falling on your arse in the mud. Also the kilt look is rather fetching.

None of this was remotely successful as the one time I *did* fall on my arse in the mud, I promptly slid down a slope covering my entire back. Nice.

Me, drunk and seemingly about to tip wine everywhere (haha I just noticed that), last night. About 3 hours before I went home, and fell flat on my face on a dark footpath in the rain and lost my very expensive beloved VERY NECCESARY glasses ;_;

I cant, I lost them last night at about 1am :( My ex rushed to help when I rang in a hysterical panic, and scoured the path up and down where I'd been walking, but couldnt find them :( I couldnt look for them, I couldnt see!

It was a bit of a miserable embarrasing event, my hands are all grazed from falling down :/

Ouch and suckage, It's bad enough living alone and drunkenly loosing one's glasses in the house. I have no idea where my spares are either.

If I lose my glasses I've usually put them somewhere and forgot - are you sure you had them on when you left the bar/club? (ring them and ask if they found them in their bathroom/on your table?) Or maybe you picked them up while on the ground, put them in your pocket/bag and forgot you did so?
