jon, that is what i figured happened actually but i wasn't really sure!
laurel, they have the img urls but you have to go to the "view all sizes" page or something like that to see them. that being said it never actually works to use flickr's code on ilx, even with the html parser, because ilx seems to refuse the idea that a picture can also be a link (unless that's been worked out really, really recently).

Right click on the picture pick "view image" and then grab the URL from the address bar. (although Flickr puts a few extraneous characters after the .jpg that you should probably remove.)
