No more holidays for Keith then.
― PJ Miller, Thursday, 7 June 2007 12:01 (eighteen years ago)
i think of that more as a fiasco than a debacle.
― blueski, Thursday, 7 June 2007 12:07 (eighteen years ago)
writing an HTML parser is sort of like a holiday

i don't know what ticked him off. i liked the dude but i think it ended with him posting a picture of his nutsack to wdyll. not a good look.
― sanskrit, Thursday, 7 June 2007 12:25 (eighteen years ago)

― Rock Hardy, Thursday, 7 June 2007 12:53 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, like the new bookmark changes! View Previous Page much better than view all 10000 messages!
Here are some crumpets for you:

yes, this too. (that said, the way around it was to bookmark the page, go back to board and click on the thread again so it gives you the first 50 / last 50 view).
― koogs, Thursday, 11 June 2009 11:36 (sixteen years ago)
if you could do that for normal (unbookmarked) threads too that would be awwwwwwesome.
― man saves ducklings from (ledge), Thursday, 11 June 2009 11:45 (sixteen years ago)
great work on the unbookmark button!

This is totally unimportant, but in Firefox (3.0.10, Windows XP, using style.css with no browser CSS overrides as far as I recall) the "Bookmark removed" div at the top of the page is always visible for me. Happens whether I'm logged in or not, doesn't appear in IE.
Sorry if you just haven't got round to changing the stylesheets yet, but since it works in IE I thought it was worth mentioning.
If you're changing the "show all messages" code, is there any chance you could make it not hide things if the number of extra posts is under, say, 5, so you don't ever see "skipping 1 message"? Obviously not a big deal, so, er, sorry, thanks...
― a passing spacecadet, Thursday, 11 June 2009 18:31 (sixteen years ago)
(CSS issue is fixed now, so thank you if you fixed it, or sorry if I was still looking at a cached version. Thanks!)
― a passing spacecadet, Thursday, 11 June 2009 19:15 (sixteen years ago)
Yeah sorry, it's the browser cache not picking up the most recent version...
