the homeless guy who walks round in a tweed suit that hasn't been taken off in several decades; has long hair and beard; carries a battered brief case; looks like james k. baxter's doppelganger; was often seen at local cafe, holding up graph paper to the front window and drawing weird patterns.

has now had his art exhibited at the biggest gallery in the city.

a social activist friend from college who experimented with different voting strategies in group meetings because the usual democratic paradigm had issues, didn't shave her legs, was vegetarian, and has graduated to go work on an organic farm in california where she will live in a yurt. west californians- physically attractive blonde people whose allegiance to cannabis and the beach is only unmatched by their propensity to fall into dubious metaphysical leanings and thinking that living under a thick redwood is a solid real investment decision

east californians- intoxicated by kim wilde's tribute to them, they fill up every denny's west of oklahoma while decrying the supposed laziness of katy perry's latest hit. also they are all racist fucks who have a bizarre elitist complex going on, considering that they are not even fit to fill the shoes of the inland empire

northern californians- people who are assured that dumping 2.5 buttloads of hops into a fermenting beverage w/o thinking somehow equals a "craft beer"

philadelphians- a proclivity for cheesesteaks and racism is only matched by their contention that bland food and ...ugh, never mind, it writes itself.
