Walliams, Windsor and Baddiel Last week at the birthday party for Matt Lucas' partner, we're told David Walliams got his (quite impressive, we hear) cock out to show Barbara Windsor. Though Babs was heard later saying something about not being as big as Sid James...
Walliams spent a long time chatting with David Baddiel about comedy partnerships. Surely a Baddiel-Newman style break-up isn't on the cards for this pair?

I like both - up to a point.
I'll miss Ponderland tonight as I'll be in bed.

seven years pass...

i saw the infidel in stratford, baddiel's stage version of the film he wrote, now with added songs. its a really good production, the cast and musicians are all pretty strong, but the politics of this show are just.... ugh. im not sure what its out to do, maybe make its mainly jewish audience see that muslims have a sense of humour? or make its mainly jewish audience have their assumptions about islam vindicated? i wasnt sure. but the satirical 'barbs' (or baggy/lazy/easy potshots) i would say are definitely not equally shared - its probably 80% muslim lampooning, 20% (and im being generous) jewish satire, which seemed highly suspicious. left me feeling a bit gross after actually.

so i would probably have to side with russell brand in this battle, for all his stupidity.

'put a fatwah on it, put a fatwah on it... put a fatty fatty fatty fatwah on it' was the chorus of one. (this one later got adapted, in the interest of fairness, into 'put a kaibosh' on it).
