CN Tower C/D?

At 553m (1815 ft), it is the tallest "freestanding structure" in the world (although the new Tokyo Tower will soon surpass it). It is also probably the most recognizable symbol of the city of Toronto. I always got the impression however, that it was something that locals were supposed to sneer at as being "only for tourists". That said, I love, and have always loved this most magnificent of phallic objects. Growing up, few things made me happier than seeing it come into view from the Gardiner expressway on drives into the city. What say you?

I like the lifts, they're so fast you get that stomach feeling like you're on a (small) rollercoaster.

There's a sign on the wall above that glass floor telling you how many hippopotamuses could stand on it without it breaking. I think it was 40. This is the kind of information I could do with in life. For that alone tis classic.

did anyone try jumping on it?

they're going to have a similar glass thing at the grand canyon, i hear.

did anyone have a poo at the toilet at the top? i did it in the macau tower and it was the best feeling ever, having a poo so high up (planes don't count)
