In this case, I haven't *seen* most of the rest of the movies, aside from American Tail. Which I do like, though.

Only the non-NIMH seekers who have actually endured "The Pebble and the Penguin" can get in my little black book.

The only ones I've seen apart from NIMH are American Tail, way too long ago to have a sensible opinion of, and Anastasia, from which I learnt that the Russian Revolution was caused by Rasputin making a pact with the Devil.

Inaccuracies

* The dinosaurs featured existed in different time periods. Apatosaurus and Stegosaurus existed in the late Jurassic period, while Triceratops, Pteranodon, Saurolophus and Tyrannosaurus existed in the late Cretaceous period. Therefore, the period where this film takes place is unspecified.
* Pteranodon ate fish and lived near beaches and coastal areas, and didn't have teeth.
* Tarpits are not just giant pools of tar, they were supposed to have a layer of water and sand this way the creature being fooled would not realize it was a trap. Also tarpits did not form during the age of the dinosaurs, they formed during the Cenozoic era.
* A Dimetrodon appears once in the film, which would have been extinct before the dinosaurs appeared. Also Dimetrodon was bigger than the way it is depicted in the film.
* Pachycephalosaurus were not carnivores, and did not have horns. However, in the sequels they are seen in the Great Valley so they might not have been trying to eat Cera.
* Tyrannosaurus did not stand up straight, according to current paleontological thought.
* Grass is often seen in the series, and did not grow until the cenozoic, shortly after the dinosaurs died out (there was grass ancestors found in titanosaur dung).
* A Meganeura appears briefly in the movie, smaller than it was in real life.
* When an animal is ready to hatch from its egg (including a dinosaur), it takes a few hours for the animal to come out.
* Dinosaurs did not speak English.

Not only did that movie make me cry my ass off, I hated that fucking triceratops more than anything. If you're going to include a token female (at the suggestion of producer Steven Spielburg no less!), don't make her an irritating sasshole. They should've all been retarded Buster Keatons like that one stoned-looking big one who never did anything at all.

it was the first one and reading the wiki pissed me off because Lucas and Spielberg made Bluth edit out 19 scenes worth of kickass T Rex carnage for fear of braking kids' branes
