its a 'luxury' dessert made by a reputed company and the item in question is still in its wrapper unopened but even though its been in my fridge, there are these weird little things crawling around in it what are the chances of me getting any money for this? im broke, so could do with a little money or should i just expect a replacement batch and nothing more?

If you didn't eat them or get sick you will probably only get product compensation, if your lucky.
Do you still have the receipt? they might send you to the place where you bought it first.

Is there a number on the package to call with questions/complaints?
Even if they don't do anything but replace the product, they might want to know that they may be experiencing some kind of quality control issue.
